would moving the donation around to different people cause it to rise, thinking that they bought the vip subscription when they didnt?!?!
IDK IM NOT TECH
I trust Jin also. Like it was mentioned technology can always break you know.
Be careful what you wish for!
Yeah I came up with the conclusion with it being the transaction table on the day we said we would donate £600.
The actual figure raised was £530 based off the paypal transactions. The counter reports incorrect values straight from the database. It would seem that a particular condition or possibly a change in vBulletin table design is what is responsible for the error. I will be taking a look at it later.
£530 is almost exactly the total in transactions for GBP alone, seems fairly coincidental? I don't mean to call you an idiot but are you sure you're not just seeing the total of GBP on paypal?
You may want to look at the 'reversed' column which I'd assume would flag up refunded purchases, the script doesn't check the state of that column. I'd investigate myself but I think matt was getting tired of running sql queries for me.
Chippiewill.
I am going off transactional reports that paypal generates on my behalf and then double checking the figures manually.
The actual GBP total was £475 before tax £437 after.
£530 is inclusive of all other currencies once converted to GBP.
