I think you'll be alright, somewhere is bound to have it and stock should be ok as that'll be a month after launch. Maybe you could try and reserve it a few days in advance just to be safe?

Yeah that's a good plan, I'll do that. Probably Argos will have it or something. Still toying with the idea of getting a 3ds but I really don't think he'd appreciate the difference between that and the 2ds, like he wouldn't notice or care.

I wish I'd gone for a 2DS cos I never use the 3D feature as it gives me migraine. Don't know anyone who thinks the 3D is actually worth it

Ikr omg the 3d is rubbish, it only works for me if you're looking at it dead on straight so if you're lying in bed with it it just goes all dodgy and gives a headache

Isn't the new 3ds meant to have better 3d so you don't have to be facing completely level with the screen? Also I hate that the 2ds can't fold

I've heard the 2ds sucks though... i'm looking at buying one soon... not sure what to get...
