It may be optimistic but still. She won't be beaten by Mary or Rebecca. It's between Matt Cher and 1 direction any of them could win tbh.

It really is a close call this year tbh. I didn't expect One Direction to do so well!

Why not? They're young good looking guys who can sing alright. Obviously they're going to do well thanks to screaming hormonal girls

Groups normally go out first in the X Factor so I guess most people expected this year to be the same. Although, One Direction are very commercial and have the right man behind them pulling the strings in the media. Also I think that compared to most years, the contestants this year are pretty weak in comparison. There are a few people in there like Mary, Rebecca and Matt who have good voices but compared to those of last year I don't think you can really compare. I mean last year you had people Rachel Adedeji, Lucy Jones, Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon, Mis Frank, who I think if any of them had been in the competition this year would have shined much more than las yeart. Even the god awful novelty act was better last year lol.

As for this year, I agree with Special:

    1st - Matt Cardle
    2nd - One Direction
    3rd - Rebecca Ferguson
    4th - Mary Byrne
    5th - Cher Lloyd

Yeah I wasn't sure about that either to be honest. They changed Chers style a few weeks ago and it clearly didn't seem to be received very well (although I preferred it) as they seemed to go back to more of her original style a little more. I think it could have lost her some followers but yeh, I'm not sure.
