One for the road. :rolleyes:
Glad hamilton has come out and said hes commited to McLaren
So, first qualifying is over and suprise suprise Vettel came out on top...
Glad to see Lewis & Jenson 2nd & 4th with Webber placed in 3rd.
Hopefully it will be a good tight race to kick start the season!
Predictable result but fantastic drives from Vitaly and Perez! Sauber did brilliant to clinch 7th and 8th. I worry Lewis might be penalised because of his broken floor though.![]()

Not seen the race (yet) but what a result that was for Petrov & Perez... Couldnt have asked for a better start than that!
Why would Lewis get a penalty if something was broken on his car, he still finished the race and i would guess that it didnt harm any other driver...
There's some rules on the floor with that wooden plank they have or something, forgot what they name it.
In regards of Sauber;
Sergio Perez and Kamui Kobayashi disqualified from the Australian GP
The FIA says the Sauber breach was to do with the uppermost rear wing element, but no more details at the moment
Just watching the highlights now, i didnt know there was a rule about the bottom plank - i do now though! There's some rules on the floor with that wooden plank they have or something, forgot what they name it.

Really disappointing to hear that the Sauber drivers have been disqualified, they had a brilliant race.
Sounds a bit unfair to me especially since Perez performed brilliantly today, and it has really put the team down. It isn't even the drivers fault, they would of been better just taking off the constructors points and/or issuing a fine and ordering them to fix it.Originally Posted by James Key, Sauber Technical Director

"Certainly this has not lead to any performance advantage. We are checking the design of the parts now to better.''

I thought the FIA checked all of the cars to make sure they meet the regulations before a season starts... Which means the problem would have been picked up :/
You'd of thought it. I guess it's one of those things. Nobody realised Red Bull weren't using KERS either.
One for the road. :rolleyes:
What a qualifying spectacular! Lewis could've had it!
