As for cost, no, just a quick test and your free to go. they send you the password and when u see the session on the multiplayer menu, you can join it, with no "Idiots" flying around

as for Vatsim, i go on that more often now as FSX onlnie ahs become a real pain

I never really joined any groups, I just fly on VATSIM, and the odd random session for people want to do soem fun flying with me.

I only go on Multiplayer when I'm with someone to play, that I actually know.
