Well, I believe at 'attraction' at first sight, you can like someone without knowing them, but love? no.
If your attracted to them, your more likely to talk to them and get together, and then fall in love. You can realize you love them after that, but it takes time. But I spose if that happened to you and you looked back on it it would seem like love at first sight, I guess that's where the saying comes from...
