Not COUNTY OR REGION which is what gets me banned. What country. I'll get the ball rolling. I'm from Hawaii about 20 miles from where the show 'LOST' is filmed.

    Dan

PS [to MODs] I'm not going to hunt you down and kill you like the MODs think I will. And infraction me or ban me like usual. And if this has been made before then just say and i'll close. I can't be bothered with infractions anymore !

I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

The UK isn't 'merely' a union of countries. The United States is a country. Look at at your passport mate. It says you were born in Britain.

If England is it's own country, why doesn't it have it's own seat at the UN.
    goodbye.

The Kingdom of England was an independent state until 1 May 1707, when the Acts of Union resulted in a political union with the Kingdom of Scotland to create the Kingdom of Great Britain.

England's National Day is St George's Day, which is celebrated annually on April 23.
The paragraph in bold explains the united kingdom therefore we're not an independent country but still are one all the same
