We have said MANY times that the main reason for the site going to close was due to the fine that was incurred for damaging a server but if people choose not to believe it and still post rumours then what do you expect us to do? Get on our knees and grovel for you to believe us as there is more chance of me winning the lottery than that happening.

thinkhabbo lottery what a scam, they give 20 hcs as the prize and its 1 hc per ticket meaning there is like 6 or something hcs which they claim get given out as prizes during shows, hahaha.

Noes, noes - I do believe that. It's a reasonable explanation - and yet people twist, distort, and warp it into every way possible. I agree - the rumours that speculate more than what you've stated are pretty darn far fetched, and deserve to be squashed.

However, to threaten to close, then decide not to, THEN close it for hours before reopening... I see indecisive management. Indecisive management is going hurt big time, somewhere along the line. That's the reason people assume (including myself) it was a stunt - because of the indecisive nature we've seen, and the behaviour Mr Kay has displayed over the whole issue.

Edit: And Jojo... I'm hungry, tired, grouchy. To put it politely, coming into a thread demanding people do not talk about the topic posted (which is indicated in the thread title) is darn ignorant. Okay, not everything posted has been directly on topic, but the good thing about this forum is that there is a degree of latitude to be explored. All opinions are welcome on the Internet - flamers/flamebaiters are not. It's like going into a maths classroom of a school/college and tell them to talk about maths somewhere else. Am I dreaming? I can tell you now that it was not a stunt. Nkay decided on his own to close the site after finding out about the fine. He did not discuss the closure with anybody and was certain he was going to close. Later in the day we had a meeting with the online Management and decided to keep the site open for as long as possible. So none of this was planned and as much as it may seem like a stunt, it was not.

Anyway, we wouldnt pull a stunt that is likely to lose us staff and listeners are we?

It's likely to have lost a few over the past couple of days. Another couple of threads in a forum aren't going to drastically increase the listener count - ThinkHabbo gets such love here all the time. The actual escapade that went on (such as the "drama" nicci mentioned)... they might have gained overall, or they might have just straight lost. Could have gone either way - and we have no way of justifying either argument without figures.
