Getting a PS3?

I have a PS3 and it's definitely worth it, it outright beats the XBOX 360 in my opinion. The price may be a little high, but there's nothing that they can do about it. It's the future of video gaming anway, so I ask, how expensive are the next next-gen consoles going to be?

For the ultimate console, get the PS3. For a lot of fun with your friends get the Wii and for good gaming but not with a massive price tag, get the 360, simple as.

I don't see how it can beat the xbox 360... It may have blu-ray and better graphics, but does it have a game acheivements system thing like 360? Atleast with the 360 you get more from the games than just sitting and trying to completing them...

I don't want to say it but I'm really tempted to pre-order one. For a long time now I've been adamant that I wouldn't be endorsing Sony's latest console, but I have the money sitting in the bank serving no purpose and Play.com has quite a good £524.99 bundle on sale. I'm feeling the urge to click "buy".

Despite my technology lust, I do think that the 360 offers the better experience compared with the PS3. It's cheaper, has a great library of games and a more rewarding online environment.

PS3 just copy the Xbox 360. We got Xbox live they copied it for Playstation network. We have 4 controls they have 2. We have a media centre etc they dont (i think). They have just copied us really, Xbox 360's rule and will always will until a new system comes out which has better stuff (which is nearly impossible to beat the xbox 360. Try and name some things which could happen to consoles in the future. And name the new Xbox.

No its not, the ds was called a gimmick way more than the wii and it now sells over 2x as much as psps.

The Wii will never be considered as a rival in any way to the Xbox 360 and ps3 the Gamecube could always keep up the wii will fail when making games you can port between ps3 and 360 and make muti-format games as you could with the last gen and there consoles but with the wii you have to redesign the game so they have lost a lot of support from games makers also the games are cheaply made and there’s not much to them over time people will stop making games and people will only get games like Mario and Zelda from Nintendo they will concede and stop the Wii and make a slightly better console than ps3 and Xbox 360 and with the money they lost it will be over priced and no one will bye it

Lets say.. you see someone with a device and they sell it and do REALLY well.. Wouldn't you want that same thing? Its all about money these days.
Theres always something that comes out which is original and then everything else must have it.
Happens in habbo (People make a nice casino design.. then people copy)
Happens with clothes (Someone sees one person wearing one thing, copies it, it turns into the new "thing")

I think in the future there should just be a console that plays its own games + other console games. Like the ps2 with ps games.. But this should be like all PS + Xbox games. That would be nice x] With interchangable controllers.. lmao. I doubt that would happen cuz I would imagine people would stop buying Xbox's and PS's .. But who cares That would be good.

No everyone copys nintendo. They have the first of everything. They invented controllers, dpads, analogue sticks, shoulder buttons, 4 ports and kind of online as the snes in japan had sattalite play.

Also why should it be harder to adapt to the wii?. Id say its easier with nintendos 'wii programming arm', they have bought loads of multiformat games onto the wii for example need for speed carbon and madden.
