We'll be the in the heart of a technological war then there's a power cut for about 5 minutes...that would be quite funny.

well natural phenomenons take millions of years to make the Earth die. If nature completely takes its place, then the Sun will destroy it.
But with humans taking over and huge influx of technologies developing everyday, I reckon it'll be something that does not appreciate the Earth in the way that we do.
So I still think it'll be technology.

I don't think the world will come to an end. I mean, we may have problems that make us thing that it will, but i'm sure we'll come up with the technology to fix this. And, even if it does come to an end, there could be a chance we've found some planet to leave on, and we'd be saved by that?

I thought that too. We will probably in a couple of centuries up and leave Earth to boldly go were no one has gone before! woo I'd like to live on one of Jupiters moons. Apparently they're very popular in the summer months

Yep, the most realistic way. Alien attack is very impossible Anyway, why do they base movies on such Alien attack, tbh I haven't seen a movie that shows the world end in global warming. It would double as a way to educate people about global warming too

The world will not be destroyed by Global warming. Citys, civilisations, countries but not the world. Flooding will not cause the world to cease to exist. Humanity may be killed by global warming but the world won't.
