Kind of.. :S blink 182 did alot for their genre I guess, but hendrix/led zepp did so much for their genre - so much more than blink 182 man.. Hendrix has inspired so many guitarists it's unbelievable.
Hendrix also changed peoples views on rock, bought blues into the lime light and was the greatest guitarist (in mine and many others opinions)
So how can you say blink 182 did so much compared to hendrix? :S

To be fair, nearly every pop-punk band since Blink have been a Blink ripoff.Kind of.. :S blink 182 did alot for their genre I guess, but hendrix/led zepp did so much for their genre - so much more than blink 182 man.. Hendrix has inspired so many guitarists it's unbelievable.

By the way, does this have anything to do with metal?
yeh, and blink have inspired countless numbers of bands.Kind of.. :S blink 182 did alot for their genre I guess, but hendrix/led zepp did so much for their genre - so much more than blink 182 man.. Hendrix has inspired so many guitarists it's unbelievable.

And how many hendrix rip offs/covers have there been?
And hmm.. nothing much really
My favourite metal bands would probably be..
Disturbed
A FEW of slipknots songs
Korn
Mettalica
Dragonforce (yes crucify me meh.)
Probably a few more but forgot. :eusa_whis
Change the word to ripped off blink 182 and yeah that's true, been so many bands inspired by hendrixes style of play/out of the box kinda music, same with the beatles.
This is going off topic though ;D

Lol.Not many people on this forum actually listen to Classic Rock. I don't understand how it can be 'overrated'. Also, when did this 'overrated' nonsense come about anyway!? I've never heard of the saying 'overrated' anywhere but this forum. It drives me insane. -.-
Don't get why not many people like classic rockguess they're into hip hop..yo..
>_>
And meh, I was told that Hendrix was overrated once, felt like hitting him
