For **** sake Gomme, make an index.html file on your site in the same directory as your index.php file, the index.html file would be shown yet the php file still there. Your probably too dumb and will reply i dont get what you mean but read up on it maybe.

But you said, if you changed the index2.html to index.html it would get recognised as index.php. It justs sits there being .html, not changing to .php.

You said replace index2.html to index.html. Before .php which I have done. now we have 2 index's one .php and one .html. The .php hasn't changed like you said.
