I was not on drugs.

When we released it reputation points were not as much as a big thing as they are now. And not many people actually bought it.

Lets not all commit suicide over losing some reputation power now. If everyone has gone down then it aint much diff.

Also when I released it we had rules in place. I don't know if they were still followed when me seacat and whoever else dealt with it at the time left:

We dont sell to anybody who already has more than 1000 rep
We will only sell a maximum of 540 Reputation Points to one forum account.

We do not allow people to buy rep if they have over 1000 reputation points already due to us not wanting people to have a huge rep power which could cause problems with other members.

I would say Jack that those rules were not followed as I have had a few requests to buy rep in excess on 540. Perhaps they were just overlooked by mistake.

The more threads that are made - the better the point is made i think

It needs to get reversed - The reason for it is to make people have less rep power and to make people feel they have earned it. But its not different. Before u had to get lik 10 rep power to feel good, now u need 1. All it does is lower peoples rep power for no reason?

If you think about it, people look to rep for respect. When trading, sometimes is based on your rep, the amount of blocks you got, or your power. Now with 1 block per 1000 rep, you will get about 2 blocks every 10 years. Trading could go down, just like this forum will.

It won't be going back to how it was but there are still options for change and after how alot have reacted I am all for everybody over 100 posts getting their first rep power and thats it unless ppl get more power depending on their time here.

The forum went downhill since MAD took over so that isnt a surprise.

You can actually still tell how much rep someone has , Rep amount isn't always a safe way of telling if someone is safe, they could of just bought it all?
