I know but One piece deserves to be watched i know people may have seen it but no one has said they have yet :S and bleh maybe if you reccomend One Piece people ill go watch

Manga was the prgional tho written by the author so thats how it should have happened. maybe i did jump the gun a bit there. the anime ebding was decent i did like the whole flashbacks before his death. but the manga ending would have been alot better. one of the reason i like the live action over the anime. because it tryed to have the same ending. anyway if i didnt like the anime i wouldnt be buying the dvds

The flashbacks were also one of the best things about it. If you pay close attention you see Light run past his old self when he's running just after he gets shot, which I think is a very interesting thing to put in, but I don't think Light's the kinda guy to regret using the Death Note.

How can the live action try the same ending? L doesn't even die.

Mello seemed to get a lot more done than Near who, as you said, just sat about and leeched off other people. Also Mello disliked Near so Mello FTW Am I the only one who thinks Mello looks like Shinji? Or more to the point, am I the only one who cares?

An American studio announced that they're going to make a Death Note movie, but I am not expecting much from them at all. Quite simply, a 12 volume manga/37 episode anime cannot fit into one feature length film. Atleast Japan did it in two parts, but it needs to be a trilogy at the least to be honest.

Light is my favourite character I think. I can never decide between Light and L but I think if I actually thought hard about it, I'd choose Light. I believe he was the smarter person, and there are too many L fans these days. First favourite - Light, second favourite - L, third favourite - Matsuda. Matsuda was great, seeing him change when he finds out that Light was Kira was amazing. Every time I see the part in the anime where he says "I MUST KILL... I MUST KILL... I MUST KILL HIM!" I cannot to anything but watch in awe. I also love the part at the end of the manga where Ide says to Matsuda "you were quite fond of Light weren't you" and Matsuda says he's right. The manga ending leaves me with a more happy feeling, because Matsuda and Ide actually liked Light and actually liked the world better with Kira.

The best bit of the Death note finale for me was when Light had already been figured out and he was just stalling them, then he turned round and went for his watch and they were all like "HE HAS A PIECE OF THE NOTE?!". I was just thinking YES, YES kill them all.
