Liverpool are nothing without Gerrard so I hope he gets convicted. Anyway even if he does, he'll get a slap on the wrist whereas a normal member of the public would be sent to jail or something.
I doubt Gerrard did commit assault though, I think he may of just been there at the wrong time.
