why the hell would they make an announcement about rumours that have no validity:S if they made an announcement about every rumour they'd be there all day long.

It's not a small rumour though is it? Why wouldn't they quash it? For all anybody knows it could be true, and seems to be a pretty serious issue if it warrants a thread in here? Unless ofc people are just being pathetic.

Either way, It needs some clarification from someone who knows the score, and I do believe there are only one of those people and he's not about.

Yes, that's exactly what it is... a small rumour. Maybe you as an individual don't have the intellect to realise this, others do like has been highlighted throughout this thread. There is no need for clarification merely because that will give the site and the obvious fake rumours the attention they crave. At the end of the day it's up to nvrspk4 to make such an announcement but I'd be very surprised if he decided to do so.
