I don't see the point in you saying that managers should of posted, jin/sierk/nvr should of posted as their the ones that knew about it and probably knew the problem; but managers like leah, roxy posting saying tis server problems wouldn't help at all as they know nothing about why it was down.

No because the managers have the intellect to realise that nothing was being done. Nvr doesn't come on at "normal" times. Sierk doesn't come of often and Jin is at the age where he can't be running around a Habbo fansite. It would have taken 5minutes and resolved everything. They have already said it should have been done that's a clear consenus. Anyone could have posted, yes... What exactly is your point. You're really lacking clarity.

So a manager making a post saying


"HIYA WE KNOW DAT D FORUMZ DOWN DNO Y THO ITS JUST DOWN JUST WAIT A WHILE IT MITE B BAK UP DNO WHEN THO"

would help you understand the problem? no.

Obviously people understood that the problem was acknowledged as i highly doubt none of the 3/4 were on within the 2 days it was down.

It went down after nvr went on the first day and then he wont be on for another 24 hours. You're just backing my point it was down 2 days and nobody made an announcement saying "Unfortunately the forum is down due to unforeseen circumstances and will be back available as soon as possible. Sorry for an inconvenience". I obviously expect too much from the management.

Dom, ludus uses the forum on a regular basis.

I agree with you that it should have been announced.

I disagree that any manager should have posted.

As i've said numerous times the appropriate person should have make a post stating it, not just any manager as they have no clue. The fact 3/4 people knew one of them should of posted.

It's taken for granted that the forum is down because you can't get on it, so a manager saying "I don't know why its down, don't know when its going back up, don't know if anyone is looking into this, but forums down!" would not help at all...

Let me see if I have got this right:

1. Forum goes down but unfortunately due to people being away with exams etc it took longer than normal to get it back up.

2. No update was posted on Habbox.com which a few members felt should have been.

3. Lots of rumours were circulated via MSN and Habbo saying various untrue things about the situation.

3. Habbox Management at all levels have clarified the situation and apologised for this and have said that they will try to make sure if it happens again members will be informed via the website.

4. What else is there to say or discuss here?

If the forum's down is it not immediately apparent to people that there's a server issue? Especially if the main site is still working - and frankly the lack of any announcement should have fortified this (horrifically obvious) theory rather than make anyone think that it's the work of hackers or anything else more malicious than a technical glitch. What did you really need telling?
