You would be surprised about who makes threads.
Younger users (like ten year olds) would think its 'cool'.![]()
But from the poll Habbox has hardly any of them users and ive never seen threads like that aprt from some rule breakers
That is true!

"Things of a sexual nature" are an important part of our lives. Granted, when in the wrong hands these "things" can be immature and just rude; but when handled maturely (and that doesn't exclude humour) they prove an interesting topic and an engaging conversation.
This rule is ridiculous and should be reworded and though about properly. For example "This topic has been reviewed, and after a second opinion, deemed unsuitable for the forum."
Hehe, i think i proved my point ^.^

With regards to the OP - the first thread calls for the discussion and description of sexual acts. The Mentor polls do not call for description of the acts and is extremely borderline. However we made a choice and decided that instead of sticking to the letter of the rule, we would stick to the spirit of the rule, which ironically enough people have been begging for since I was a mod
I see no need to describe sexual acts, I can see the point in discussing relationships, morality, etc.
With regards to one of Gomme's posts (too farin there toback in the thread topull outdig up...I must watch my words in a thread like this) the rule is perhaps confusing, I should clarify that the bold is the rule, shortened whereas the non bold is the explanation of the rule, giving the actual rule in longer form. Therefore the non bold does not invalidate the bold text, however I do agree that they imply slightly different things so for clarification, its the nonbold, describing acts, that is the rule. Perhaps we should change the red bold text to "Describe" instead of "discuss".
The polls and such referring to average forum age are imprecise, at best.

Changing the word discuss to describe gives the rule some sense.
Surprising how big of an effect one word can have.
He does... horrible, sick things, things that cannot be spoken about on any forum
Thats why he keeps the rule, so i cannot speak of the events
On topic, if habbox is actually interested in gaging the real age group of the full forum, a good way to do this would be simply to attach my pole to the the top of all the forums for say a week (i think vb supports this feature)
Then users who wouldn't normally venture outside their forums would see it, probably vote and the end result would be a much more accurate picture of the forums main age groups
The idea to me sounds simple enough as i cant really think of any big downside for doing this as a one off thing![]()
