Does anyone know if free kicks will be possible to score from now? (idc if they were "easy" in 09 in your opinion. I had it but barely played it really and the closest I ever got was hitting the woodwork ).

I found that was OK, it was just that no matter what you do, the keeper is always in the right place at the right time.

It’s safe to say that FIFA 09’s Manager Mode was lacking, with the FIFA development team focused on gameplay more than anything else last year. But listening to feedback over the last eight months following the release of the game, EA have made it one of their main objectives to revamp it in this year’s release.

There were many little niggles that used to frustrate fans of MM, but following a discussion with David Rutter and Marcel Kuhn, we are pleased to announce the following two features will be in FIFA 10’s MM:

* Squad Player Number Assignment – The user will have a screen on which he can re-assign every players squad number at any point.
* Authentic Time of Day/Weather – The time of day/weather selection will be based on the time of the year and the day the match is played on, as well as the region and the league the users club plays in. The results of this feature will be that mid-week cup games will be played at night, it will rain a lot more in England and the sun will shine a lot more in Australia.

These are just two of the many fixes and improvements that MM fans can look forward to when FIFA 10 is released later this year.

Free kicks were easy.

Any news on whether "Ultimate Team" will be built in this year, or will they swizz another couple of quid out of people?

There's not going to be Ultimate Team in Fifa 10.
