HabboxForum ~ is it time for a redesign?

Well the Management has to think before they give any design the go ahead, especially with vBulletin 4 coming, if they decide to upgrade, there will be no point in starting skins now as they break completley (i've tried importing older skins and trust me, they don't work).

However, if they are going to stay on this version of vBulletin for a considerable amount of time longer, then I think that a new skin should be made, but defo leave the Classic Skin be, I use it even though I designed a few of the skins on the site. It is Habbox Forum.

And personally the simple answer is yes...
I'm not a fan off much off the skins, but I feel we should keep them if members don't like yours.

It's in the Beta stages at the moment, Habbox Forum won't upgrade till it's Gold at the very least, which will take us till next year due to the slow progress on it.

You can preview the new version by visiting www.vbulletin.com/forum and see the differences!

Also: Habbox isn't too fond of using template edits, however, I think due to the outdated looks of some of the styles, they should possibly be considered (as long as someone is able to maintain them). I know Jin doesn't have the time and i'm not sure on the other admins capabilities with the skins (just thinking aloud here).

Wow, the default skin for vB4 is uglyyyy. It's so.. eww. Anyway, I agree with you - but if they can't be maintained, don't worry.

I really like them layouts Homo! I love the blue non-Habbo layout, it's my favourite by far, and I would love to see the change! I also think that the original orange layout should be still available for people like me to (maybe) occasionally change back.

Thanks for the nice comments, syko2006! I don't think that these will be coded anytime soon though since vB4 is going to be released and Jin, bless, has too much work to do I think!

Yes there needs to be a new skin, but not with what you are offering, the skins you are offering are ugly, the "gloss" on the forum titles look tacky, the shadows around the boxes are tacky and there is a lot of useless space that could be used to expand the template as it is now.
