Also a lot of weed is shipped by dangerous criminals and often people from overseas are slaved to produce it.

I do believe a lot of people only take it because its illegal
Making weed legal would solve several problems:

    1) The Government could slap a big fat tax on it to make some money
    2) They could make sure it was pure, or have some kind of regulation purity level so it's not dangerous
    3) Would get people away from drug dealers who could potentially persuade them into harder drugs

And what you said about strengths. I could get a bottle of Vodka which was 35% strength. Or I could get a bottle of beer, which is 3%. That's not the same

Obviously I meant the same actual drink. As in if you bought two of those vodka's they'd both be the same strength, because they have been produced to make sure they are the same. You wouldn't get a 35% that was actually a 40%

Unemployment only fell cause he forced people to join manual labour corps, forced women to quit their jobs and so somehow didn't include them in the figures, same with jews and many other minority groups. Not really a solution but as someone else said, merely being able to sweep things under the rug due to lack of opposition.

The only way you solve discrimination is by tackling it head on. People's attitudes take time to change and to change majority influence you need to keep a consistent fight up. If gay couples resist having children just due to worries about bullying then the problem will never be solved, and in my opinion the joys of having a child are far outweighed by a relatively minor period in their life. And many many people nowadays grow up in single parent families with only one role model, many of those turn out perfectly fine. I really think the whole "other sex role model" is a completely redundant issue in today's society.

and I really don't have that many obvious "unpopular opinions" but I'm sure that many of my opinions differ from other peoples, which is all this thread seems to be.

Here's an unpopular opinion (on this forum anyway):

right wing politics is better than left wing politics.

if it were legal it'll be regulated.

So what if Hitler possibly had one or two good ideas? I'm sure you could go through every bad person in history and they'd all have something "positive" about them, it doesn't make them a remotely good or clever person though, so it's hardly worth bringing up.

For instance I'm sure most people would agree it's genius how Hitler managed to rise from being a prisoner to Chancellor of Germany and eradicating the opposition, managing to go to War with most of Europe and stay in power so long. It's not an unpopular opinion, it's just an irrelevant fact.

This really. I'm sure given the figures no-one would say that Hitler wasn't an effective economic leader blah blah blah but that's not opinion at all, it's statistical hindsight. In fact, MOST of the things in this thread aren't unpopular opinions at all, just contested ones. I'd put something hilarious like "I am better than everyone else" as mine but everyone agrees with that so it's not unpopular opinion, woe is me
