To be honest, Jim's team had a good market to tap into they just went about it in the wrong way...

I think Jim is good tv so they keep him in. He does know what he's doing but I agree that he is a control freak. I disagree that he's rubbish at everything. I doubt he would still be there if that was the case. They must see a spark of talent in him.

The failure of the task came down to two factors:

1. The name of the magazine
2. The pitches

It was Zoes fault that the name was what it was. Maybe Jim should have taken Zoe back into the board room on that basis.

But the first pitch where Jim refused to negotiate a price was probably the swinging factor. I agree with Jim that the clients didn't like the name so it was a lost cause but who knows.

They didn't get rid of Jim because they see more potential in him rather than glen. I mean, Jims added more to this series overall rather than glen, if anyone else had done what Jim had done, they would've gone. He's got some sort of charm, where he can play people how he wants to, and when they got in the board room, he completely cuts all friendships and goes for the slaughter. He'll get fired at the interview stage, but I want him to reach the final.

They should have used the name 'Zimmer' imo.

I think Jim should of gone, but they're keep him on for the antagonistic role.
