i watched the first 3 episodes when it came out but I got flooded with too many shows to watch and ditched it but this years flood of shows to watch has almost finished so I think I may give it another go

i don't get it tho

rumpelstiltskin created 'the curse' or the new non magical world, so why does he bring back magic at the end?
how did they all get to the non magical world? I know the kid + emma got put into the tree, but how did the rest of them come to same place?
if rumpel finds his kid, surely he's still going to think the same of him as he's still obsessed with the magic that he had before
if everyones getting magic back, surely the queen will just be as powerrful as she used to be?

Wooo! You're gonna have to watch the rest online so you are all caught up for the return in Jan! Rumple only created the curse to get back to Bae and I assume he wanted it broken, as he created a clause in it with a drop of true love's potion, so that it could be broken. They all went to the same place because of the curse. Apparently Regina could select the people she wanted to bring over but the whole curse logistics still needs further explaining and yea, she gets her magic back in season 2 but now she has Henry to worry about and she doesn't want him to hate her.

to add on to what kirst says, emma and august were sent to the real world before the curse was actually in place so story brooke wouldn't have been made. storybrooke is in the real world but nonfairytale characters can't get into it nor can those already there get out of it so it's not the same place emma and august were taken to. regina i'm guessing took the hearts from the characters to this place and thats how she can control them and take them there? she made their new lives and identies with their hearts i guess. but cora has hearts too so who has whose!?!?!!?!? ugh. but then there were also people in cora's part of fairytale world where the curse didn't hit so they didn't move to storybrooke. i guess.
