it should be, but maybe they're taking new years off?

Trust them to take a week off when it finally gets to Zaraki's fight.
I was just thinking about what happens after the Zaraki fight and I can't help thinking that the anime is really far behind the manga now because there's loads of fights to come which they can milk and pad out with 'Kurosaki-kuns' and that ilk.
Anyway! Read more of the manga, after talking about it I read some the other day. Gin's such a cool character![]()
But there still gonna do 5 minute recaps at the beginning of every episode.
The main characters in Gintama were talking about how their anime is catching up to the manga and they all discussed how to stop it from catching up (in a funny way of course). But they couldn't think of how to stop the anime catching up without the viewers being unhappy, so then they're like "Ok, it's been 5 minutes lets play the opening and start todays episode now."![]()
I remember the first episode after the fillers ended. Like 17 minutes of recap lol, what a piss take. Recap is pointless. Everyone already knows what happened so far, and they don't recap enough for a new viewer to start watching at that point. POINTLESS!
I've read up to volume five now, and wow I had no idea it took this long to actually get into Soul Society! Maybe because I watched the first 35 episodes of Bleach in two days, but Orihime and Chad have only just got their powers in volume five, they won't be in Soul Society until like volume eight. Also, reading the manga has made me realise that a lot of the plot points have been forgotten. You remember that ribbon thing Ichigo did to find Chad's bird? Rukia was like 'omg only high level soul reapers can do that, can he really be evolving so fast, etc' but that was never seen or mentioned ever again.
Theres a ton more that I picked up on while reading but I can't remember them right now. Also, I don't get Kido. How come sometimes they say a whole verse from the Bible and then say the name of the attack, but other times they just say the name without the whole essay. Does it make a difference? If not, why do they say the massive verse most of the time?
