There are a few famous songs that are actually responces to other songs. Lynard Skynard (cant spell) wrote 'Sweet Home Alabama' in responce to Neil Young's song 'Southern Man'. Even mentions him by name in the song. And R.E.M.'s 'Losing My Religion' was written in responce to Sting's 'Every Move You Make'
