Dave they don't need banisters because there is already a wall there. The dark gray part where a banister would go is an already existing wall that goes up to form a room. It is just removed so you can see in the room

I have a suggestion. You know how somebody did the transparent wall, you could do that as a railing so nobody would fall off at the top. Excellent work 10/10 +rep
