I have to be honest here, Matt you were one of the best members of the moderation team I have ever worked with and I've worked with a lot of people. Your efforts put into the forum were amazing in your time here and your attitude towards me was absolutely great, I find it really sad to see you go. It's a really shame that things have ended this way but I hope you realise how much your work was appreciated by myself and the team and how I feel about us as great friends. I know we shall continue to be good friends and I know you will do well in whatever you do in the future - you are just one of those people who I really feel are amazing. Yeah - I think it's unfair is Elkaa is allowed to *REMOVED* however when a different member of staff in the department (Mat) says it it's acted upon.

Why Elkaa? It is not a ban issue that shouldn't be discussed? It is an opinion and maybe it should be considered that this was a hasty decision that in hindsight could be reversed as I can't see he is actually done anything except be unhappy with something and threaten to resign which has never been a ground for dismissal before as far as I know. I agree that Mat should perhaps approach Jimi for a review on the decision or appeal to Sierk.

This situation was this. I'd become steadily inactive over the last 1-2 weeks and that was due to me not really enjoying the job anymore. So last night I talk to Favourtism about it for abit and what I felt about the job, so we outlined some stuff and then we added Agesilaus to the conversation which didn't go down to well and so I ended up getting pretty ticked off with him and send Elkaa an offline message saying that I wanted to resign. Afterwards I talked to opensourcehost who calmed me down abit and made me look at things abit differently. After sleeping on it I did feel better about the job so naturally I decided to keep with the job. However, Elkaa came online and removed my permissions due to what I said to him the previous night, I then talked to him about how I felt and I was pretty much ready to get back to the job, but he said he'd talk to Jimi about it first. But it seems since isn't the first time I have said I wanted to resign so this been the second time I wanted to resign he has decided that he can't have me on the team If I am to periodically decide to resign then decide not to.

I'm not really sour about it though, It's a fair enough point he's made .

The thing with Agesilaus was a misunderstanding over peoples feelings which quickly transformed into a big arguement between you and him. Jugjing by what you said last night, I wouldn't be suprised if Elkaa removed you perms because you sounded like you were hacked! I wont lie, you were one of the best staff members on here and I am deeply upset for you to leave. I just hope that we can still have similar disucssions on MSN together in the future.

I like Mat and Luke the same and they both were arguing with each other despite who started it from a misunderstanding. Therefore your unfair insults against Luke is disgusting. Luke and Matt are/were great smods and great freinds. Its just a misunderstanding that happened last night.

Well I did not mean to upset you Jimi but it does seem to be unprecedented in Habbox History if he was dismissed because he simply threatened to resign particuarly knowing that anything that happens on MSN cannot be taken into account or used as evidence against anybody on Habbox Forum. I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one as nobody has suggested that it was any worse than this.

This is now closed for discussion. It is not any of your jobs to decide that any Super Moderators should be fired or rehired. It makes me very dissapointed that several of you are passing judgement on a number of super moderators who were not even the subject of this thread and are making your own decisions about whether they should be fired or kept without knowing anything about it.

Management is entirely capable of deciding which Super Moderators are active and which step over the line, we don't need you saying "Bring back Mat and fire soandso, because soandso annoys me and I liked Mat better." While Mat64 was a great moderator and even better guy, he has accepted the decision and I'm not sure why you haven't. All I can assume is that it comes down to the childish impulse to instantly criticize any managerial decisions so that you can once again scream about how corrupt management are and how terrible their decisions are without even knowing the entire situation.

The reason for this closure by-the-book is the argumentation and off-topicness which has branched into a thread basically questioning the firings and calling for firings and resulting in personal attacks on various Super Moderators which are unfair and unfounded. If anybody wants to continue this thread as a strictly "Bye Mat64" thread, if they have something to say that hasn't been said before, feel free to.
