but the marquee isn't tabular data. you probably can't even code using div's. just give in. you noob. u can create abit of gradient. wow.

Are you just stupid or dumb? The background image (White gradient) is in a table. Hense tabular.

Yes I'm a rubbish coder all new coders are :S So what, I'll learn? Aslong as my knowledge of coding works I'll continue to code like that until I pick up more skills.

What is the point in this tutorial when marquee isn't even a valid HTML tag in the first place.

I do something nice and all I get is "no point in this" I'm trying to help people who want a marquee on top of and image.
