A film you've seen once just the other day automatically becomes your all-time favourite? Especially a remake?
One of mines are "Saving Private Ryan"
Enter The Dragon.
Braveheart, absolutly quality !
Yep. Tbh I don't care whether its the 10th remake if its good i like it :/ Only the ones i've seen or want to see! Plus i preferred it to quite a few of the movies that I have seen.
Do you actually have anything positive to say about peoples favourite movies instead of going on about the original? :S And if Death Race the original was SOOO GOOD as you say then I would've heard about it.. but guess what I didn't so it can't have been that good.

the lion king or the notebook, both fantastic films !!
No, I just thought that it was strange to view a film once and have it automatically become your favourite.Yep. Tbh I don't care whether its the 10th remake if its good i like it :/ Only the ones i've seen or want to see! Plus i preferred it to quite a few of the movies that I have seen.

Death Race 2000 is a cult classic grindhouse film, not a mainstream one. You simply cannot do it justice with a remake, it is a film that only belongs in the '70s and without the multi-million dollar budget. And I also haven't claimed that the film is "so good", but it is, and grindhouse films are not for everyone. I saw the remake last month at FrightFest in London and it got booed when the credits rolled.
Finally, you are greatly underestimating films numerically if you claim to have heard of "every good film".
