He doesn't seem to get it in his head that its not balanced. And even if it was, it's not working. He guy does amazingly well in the match he played, so they should reselect him to motivate him further, instead they drop him and forget him. So if they select him for the next match - which they probably will - his motivation will be lower, hence affecting his performance.

Test match will always be played, whatever happens, ICC wont ever consider removing it as it was the very first form of Cricket. They even issued an official statement stating that it will never be removed.
ODI has been debated once or twice, and that was only to change a few things to make it more 'fun' for the audience, and that is why the Powerplay's were introduced, along with the appeals.
