But yet again as I said the economics are 100 times worse in Africa than in the UK. Socially it is better.

Well if we are going by who is worse of the than UK we might aswell donate the money to Japan!

I am not saying the money SHOULDN'T go to Africa I am just saying that it was hypocritical to say that he/she did not want it to go to England as he/she lived in New Zealand, but to then go and say he/she is happy to give it to any other country

As I said I went on a trip to Africa raising £3000, so I am happy for it to go there

Entirely agree, I think it's frankly disgusting that anyone could give preference to non-sentient beings over those who actually feel and understand both physical and emotional pain rather than just react to base instincts

I am impressed at how caring this forum is.

Almost 300 votes have now been cast, in such a short time. Not only this but the variety is huge!

I'd like Habbox to support Help For Heroes
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

Some really good charities in the poll. For me charity begins at home, and although I would support 'Help the Aged' as well as one or two others, my heart goes out to our wounded heroes who should receive the best facilities this country can offer. So Military gets my vote.
It's the quality of your posts that count, not the quantity!

Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them.

    *REMOVED*

How would you feel if a race of aliens enslaved the human race and made you work as a bomb disposal unit because you were not as smart as the aliens?
