    Not really an apple fanboy.

I own a few apple products, got a ipod touch and had a iphone 3G for about a week or two to play about with.
Personally I agree with most comments made in the thread that apple should have included most features such as LED flash etc in the original iphone.

The features revealed today were a bit of a surprise to me especially with the new screen and video calling over Wi-Fi
They seem to be pretty cool features. Yes video calling has been around in other phones but its only recently its become FREE on other phones. Im aware android has an application which allows free voice calling via VOIP clients such as Skype. I think its a cool feature for iphone to iphone similar to Blackberry Messenger.

Though theres not a massive difference between the 3GS and iphone 4 feature wise, it is a lot better with the redesign of the whole phone and new antenna design which I am yet to see how successful it is.

I will probably check the price of the iphone 4 16GB on 15th July and if its reasonable [Around £500] I'll probably pre order one to pick up in store. However will read around a bit before buying

for a new contract, more than likely around that mark. ive found on the US website that a 16GB model is $599 (im not sure whetherthis is 4g or not). Thats £413.66 pre tax, and after tax is £486.0505. say that was an iPhone 3GS, our 16gb is selling at £449, which is very surprising tbh lol.

Oh sorry, I meant 15th June sorry.

Yes that's the reason why they never added the features to the first model. But then I dont think its fair that they say
"We like to make the best product we can for our customers"

Because they dont, they think of the business opportunity.
Either way il be buying the new iphone 4 lol.

Yes and Apple get laughed at for doing that because it contradicts their views of bring out the "best" product that is better than anything, ever and the way they advertise their products. They're known to do that all the time so us normal people just let them throw the toys around in the mental camp, while patting them on the head for specialness

Quick question, but can you change the Home Screen on the iPhone and can you move around the Apps to best suit you? I was thinking this the other day when I cahged by Android phones Home Screen to add some extra personalisation for a product I can rightfully call mine

it still doesnt mean theyre not going to use fundamental business logic though, does it? Every company pretty much has that statement somewhere in their policies anyway, so i dont see what so different about apple doing it, and any other lol

and iOS4 lets you customise the home screen with any background, but moving icons around has been there since the beginning (at least i think almost the beginning lol, in fact i think it was v2.0 when it came out as there wasnt any need to rearrange as the app store hadnt come out), but you can certainly do it now. Delete icons with ease, have them on separate pages (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnXoG...eature=related - was the clearest one i could find without some gay music )

*shudders at the i infront of OS*

I've never really seen anyone with any sort of customisations, so just assumed no-one bothered or there was no functionality. Though changing the background is hardly amazing. It's funny because Apple are probably wanting to add widgets to their iPhones, but they will so get blasted for it

Can you change the style in general, like quick links at the bottom, like ADW for the Android lets you completely change the homescreen to allow extra screens and/or quick links for apps you use all the time? Or is this where the customisation argument for Apple completely crashes? It's something they really should look into, but many accure Jobs of wanting everyone wanting to have the same product with no uniqueness (or that's how they come off, at least).
