I was thinking this, he would of been dead if he shot himself, I think police shot him in the leg then jumped on him hence the shouting.

idunno, both times i heard it i thought it was dog more than gun and there was a dog barking, but the woman on bbc thought it was 'put that gun away', how can he do that if he's just been shot:S

"Get the gun away", my guess is the police saying it to Moats gun as it was probably loaded and they didnt want it to go off. I also think the police shot him in the leg and maybe dived on him, this seems the most logical as if he shot himself there would off been nothing to take to the hospital.
