Bearded Doctor is in the first episode, only one reason for him being there.

All adds up, along with the plot synopsis released by the BBC:

Episode 6.01 – The Impossible Astronaut
Four envelopes, numbered 2, 3 and 4, each containing a date, time and map reference, unsigned, but TARDIS blue. Who sent them? And who received the missing number one? This strange summons reunites the Doctor, Amy, Rory and River Song in the middle of the Utah desert and unveils a terrible secret the Doctor’s friends must never reveal to him.

Placing his life entirely in their hands, the Doctor agrees to search for the recipient of the fourth envelope – just who is Canton Everett Delaware the Third? And what is the relevance of their only other clue: ‘Space 1969′? Their quest lands them – quite literally – in the Oval Office, where they are enlisted by President Nixon himself to assist enigmatic former-FBI agent Canton, in saving a terrified little girl from a mysterious spaceman.

Episode 6.02 – Day of the Moon
The Doctor is locked in the perfect prison. Amy, Rory and River Song are being hunted down across America by the FBI. With the help of new friend and FBI-insider, Canton Everett Delaware the Third, our heroes are reunited to share their discoveries, if not their memories. For the world is occupied by an alien force who control humanity through post-hypnotic suggestion and no one can be trusted. Aided by President Nixon and Neil Armstrong’s foot, the Doctor must mount a revolution to drive out the enemy and rescue the missing little girl. No-one knows why they took her. Or why they have kidnapped Amy Pond…

No doubt the companions and River will have to deal with time can be rewritten versus 'not one line!'

Maybe they have good reason for the Doctor to die.

Basically, this series is all about ensuring the Doctor (beardy weirdy seen in the trailer) doesn't happen to present Doctor. My theory is it's all a ruse with River Song involved to try and turn the Doctor into doing something evil, thinking it'll prevent his death.

Instructions from beardy weirdy to find the envelopes in the first two episodes, clones are involved in episodes six and seven. I'm pretty sure that this all points towards something spectacularly brilliant, if the whole 'Silents' is involved as well.

Matt is talking about the new breed of monster which viewers will be introduced to in the opening two episodes of the series. He is remaining tight-lipped about what viewers can expect but he does offer some insights into the story arc for this series."Steven has a grand plan and some of the seeds he planted in the last series start coming to fruition and affecting the characters in drastic ways," explains Matt."Every character is faced with the most seismic and high-stakes choices we've seen so far."

Some people have been speculating that there has been hints of the silents being around them other than the obvious ones. For example in The Big Bang in the scene where Amy is with little Amy, there appears to be cloaked figures behind the sarcophagus (this could just be to hold it up) but when the camera is panning to the right a dark figure moves out of the way.

Other hints include characters staring off into the distance with an extremely worried look in their face in episode 1 and does the same in the Lodger.

Alien looks barely anything like slenderman, for one he has a trilby and about 7 arms.

He looks more like anonymous from 4chan, just needs an afro.

And I would never want a Dalek in a christmas special, I actually am getting sick to **** of seeing them...

- Yes they still have the awful cybus design, but at least the logo has gone. There's been high speculation of there being an updated Mondas Cyberman, so that would be good.
