David Cameron "I am granting the Metropolitan Police emergency powers to use water cannons, rubber bullets and tear gas to take back control of our streets from these ponsing parasites biting the hand that feeds them. In addition I am deploying the British Army as a visible presence to provide the authority that is so very lacking.".....If Carlsberg did Prime Ministers.

THIS. This is definitely very true.
    ----------------------
The year below mine (year 12's from september) have involuntarily given approximately £2000 each in foreign aid over the next 2 years, and a few thousand full time salaries ontop of that from cut jobs in the police and army alone. I bet they're thrilled. Great idea Cameron. The aid provided with this money is a one off vaccination which is unsustainable and means more aid will be needed in future and more mouths to feed. Our government is clueless.
It's the fact the aid is being used unsustainably. Giving people a vaccine doesn't improve living conditions, doesn't stop famine. It is just one less thing to die from and this so called aid package is just the drug companies shifting overstock whilst getting our government to pay for it. This 'aid' won't solve any long term problems, and is a product of our government trying to look like they care but at the same time not knowing how to.
