Apparently police have taken down a facebook group encouraging a riot meet up in teeside, wonder what makes the ******s think police won't be looking on there when they've been using social networks to arrest for the past few days

The way these American students report about the riots makes me annoyed. They're acting as if people are cleaning up after a party rather than a riot.
Didn't follow it much last night.
Our town center was suppose to open late tonight(extra 2 hours), but this has been canceled as a precaution(inside information).
Also, AFC Telford United v Luton Town FC has been called off(scheduled for Saturday), as there is an EDL march in the afternoon and police will be stretched. (West Merica assisting London and patrolling Birmingham/Wolverhampton too).
Pissed off about the football, but you can see why it's been done (for precaution measures).
I think we've seen the worst of the riots/looting, and if anything will happen again it won't be for a week or so.
Here's what I know: A guy in Tottenham was shot, and people started a riot about it. Then, thugs in other cities copied, just to grab some loot from shops.
To be honest it's quite sad, but it's calmed down now.
It's been pretty calm, around Dudley

Thanks for your great summary.
Nothing happened in Dudley, just areas around it. Don't see the reason for your double post, either?
I'm not sure what is happening at UK; I live in Finland. But, I agree riots are not fun, or are they? :S
