The HxF Mole 5 - Task 19: Push the Button

For this task the contestants are placed inside a maze. The maze consists of square rooms that have doors that lead to other square rooms. These doors are locked and can be unlocked by standing on either a button, or a collection of buttons.

The maze can be seen below, with the 8 starting positions clearly labelled. The coloured boxes represent a button within that square room. The smaller squares represent the doors that will open to allow travel between the rooms.

The aim of this task is that the contestants must collectively stand on all of the black buttons in the middle of the maze. If the group does this, they will add 80p to the group prize fund.

To move, contestants must post their movements in bold in this thread.

Examples of possible movements are:
"I stand on the blue button"
"I enter the room to my North/East/South/West"

You are allowed to carry out movements for someone else if you are physically in the same room as them. As soon as you become physically separated you are no longer allowed to carry out movements for someone else.

Examples of these possible movements are:
"I place xxMATTGxx on the blue button"
"I enter the room to my North/East/South/West with xxMATTGxx"

Rooms will lock again when the buttons that unlock the room are no longer being pressed.
When you stand on a button, you may get a variety of results. These include:

"Nothing happens" - The button does nothing.
"You hear a click, but nothing happens" - A door needs another button to be unlocked.
"You hear a door open, but nobody notices anything different" - A door has opened but nobody is in either room of which the door connects.
"xxMATTGxx notices the door to his North/East/South/West opens" - A door has opened and someone is in either room of which the door connects.

Contestants are allowed to double post and can have multiple instructions in one post.

To start, you will need to decide which contestant starts where by posting a numbered list of contestants from 1 to 8 in bold. These needs to be confirmed, in bold, by two other contestants.

This task will end at 8pm BST on Sunday 26th April or when the contestants have successfully completed the maze.
