    Default HD Projector

    Thinking of getting this:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

It's only down the road from me so I could easily pick it up... and if there were any problems I'd take it back.

The specs says it has HDMI slot and all the other slots that I would need, and it also says bulb life of about 6000 hours

Me and my Dad haven't got a clue when it comes to projectors, so we don't know if this is any good... would this be good for about 8 hours usage per day, playing Xbox and just watching TV?

Is it even any good lol?

    Thanks in advance

It's not HD. It's not even widescreen. Resolution of 800x600 which is lower than what all of the projectors in schools are. I would avoid. If you really want a projector then save for something half decent.

It's not HD? it says it is 1080i? :S

Can't they get in trouble if they are falsely advertising, if that's the case?

It can take a HD input. Ie you can input 1080i into it, but it will scale it down to 800x600. Thet;s also why the image looks compressed if you look at the picture from call of duty.

Yeah I thought it wasn't all as it should be

This seems okay though, from what I can see:

Dont expect much from a projector unless your spending a lot of money.

If you want a proper HD projector you need to spend £1000+

Probably better than the eBay one. Don't know what inputs it has though. 800x600 is a little higher than standard def, but a fair bit less than 720p. At large screen sizes like this it will probably be quite noticeable.
