How has Habbox changed you/your life?

I wouldn't say it's affected me too much, but I've learnt a lot on here about things that interest me such as gaming/graphics etc.

Hasn't affected my personal life at all as I've never really spoke to anyone much from here

Coding skills, Development in terms of socialising etc, Learnt how to manage, idk lots

i'd say more negatively than anything. honestly. like irl i've never been bullied for my appearance other than for being skinny while people on here have called me fat, made fun of an illness i had while people irl were supportive over it and at one point being bullied for being flat chested (lol). made me aware of my 'imperfections' that id have never been aware of if it wasn't for people on this forum or habbo. thanks for that guys :/
truth is, the internet is a far more horrible place than real life is even though people think it's the opposite way. and i know people would be like "don't let anyone on the internet get you down" but end of the day its a place i spend most my days on for the past 5 years so it does have some effect.

ANYWAY. good things? um... probably allowed me free expression and a place to put into words all my thoughts that come out jumbled when spoken. + knowing other people feel the same and agree with me. i guess its 'changed' me because made me realize the kind of direction i want to go in life so yea...

ALSO CHANGED MY LIFE COZ IT TAUGHT ME HOW TO DISTINGUISH YOUR AND YOU'RE SO I DON'T LOOK AN IDIOT IRL THANKS. kinda goes for all grammar as you get picked on for having poor grammar on here so you're kind of forced to write well. thanks habbox.

idk gave me somewhere to go when I was bored, gave me a few friends and enemies over the years, mostly just a new realm to rule over. Impossible to say what effect it's had since to my knowledge I've never lived a life without it so I can't really compare. Obv EVERYTHING that ever happens to you has some influence on your life from that point on so yeah a few years here is bound to have made a difference

It's taught me that I don't appreciate the friends I have near me as much as I should. I got bullied tons when I joined this, still do but I'm not 15-16 now so I just give it right back or shrug it off. But you know, I've made some great friends (most of which don't come on the forum anymore but I still keep in touch with) and met some lovely people and been to some nice places as well, you know things that I wouldn't have done if I didn't come on this sooooo yeah negatives and positives.

it's made me realise what i want to do irl and what career i want. it's helped me develop my non-existent graphics skills and idk just helped me be myself lmao

I don't know if I can really say whats happened is bullying, but it sure as hell has made a rubbish impact on my life and to the way I think. Has also made me aware at how many people actually are 'out to get me' or whatever.


Also, habbox has shown me that people are like onions. (;

dunno really. i find it hard to remember when i wasnt a member on here. im 20 now and never post or really check.

all i know is that habbo itself changed a lot and so has the internet.

i just find it weird that it is almost the same group of people who post on here as it was a number of years a go and i am older and have changed so much since then.

erm they have many layers and can make u cry?
but yeah i deffo agree. people on here judging me more harshly than people irl makes me saaaaaad. we should listen to those who know us irl more.

I think also its worse when people judge you o here, irl you can just ignore them and shrug it off, all to be forgotten soon. But on here, its written down always there for everyone to see, if you see what I mean
