Recolouring tutorial for paint

stage 1:

first get the item you want to recolour. I have chosen here do do an HC sofa and put it with a white background.

stage 2:

now choose the option pick colour and then spray paint at the side every shade of green there is.
Then double click the colour you want to make it from the colour menu at the bottom, I have chosen blue for this example. select "define custom colours"

stage 3:

An edit colours menu should appear in the colour you have chosen. Use the slider to the right of the window to choose different shades of blue. There were 5 different shades of green taken out of the hc in stage 2 so Select 5 different shades of blue and "add to custom colours"

stage 4:

put these colours next to each green colour there is so each shade of blue represents each shade of green.


finally, Using the fill tool fill in the shade of green wish the blue that you have beside it in the pallette to the right.
should look like this after each part...
