For this task, the 12 remaining contestants are chained together in a circle.
Each player will need their own key to unlock themselves from their chain and leave the circle.
Each player, except one (the player that starts at position 1) is holding a key. This key is not the key that will unlock their chains, but a key for somebody else to unlock their chains. For this task, the players will need to pass the keys around the circle, so players can unlock their chains.
One player (randomly selected) does not have a key to unlock themselves, but they will be freed when the penultimate contestant frees themselves.
When a player unlocks themselves out of their chains, the contestants will be in the same positions but with the freed contestant removed from the circle.
Rules for passing keys:
Contestants with a key, that are adjacent to a contestant without a key, can pass their key by posting in bold: "I pass my key to ______"
Contestants without a key can take a key from an adjacent player by posting in bold: "I take _______'s key"
Only valid posts of this structure, in bold, will be accepted.
Contestants can only have 1 key at a time.
To try a key, the contestant must post in bold: "I try my key"
Each contestant that frees themselves adds 10p to the group prize fund meaning the overall prize for this task is £1.20.
You now need to decide which order the contestants will organise themselves in the initial circle. With contestant 1 being placed at the top of the circle, and contestant 2 being placed clockwise of this contestant continuing until contestant 12 who would then be next to contestant 1. The first post of contestants in a numbered order posted in bold, with two others contestants confirming in bold, will be accepted.
This task will end at 8pm BST on Monday 20th April or when all contestants have freed themselves.
Good luck!
