Amazon is preparing to bundle digital and physical print copies of books together, similar to how it allows people who have bought CDs on Amazon to also get digital copies via the site.
This will only be available originally in the US, with the books available for either cheaper or in some instances free. The plan is that it will bridge the gap between the digital and print industries and allow those unsure about digital print to get the best of both worlds.
What do people think? I think it's quite a nice idea. I prefer actual physically printed books but some of what I am currently reading book wise are quite big, awkward to carry around. If I had the ability to read on for example a break at work if I was alone it would be quite handy.
