My idea, is instead of making new members wait for hours to get their posts verified, there should be another idea. I was thinking, that new members would be allowed to post, but for the first 50 posts, they would not be allowed to post images. This would prevent a number of things happening, including the posting of disturbing/and or pornographic images. Of course, they would be under close moderation like any other member. This would stop the posting of inappropriate images, and would get rid of the long wait to have your posts verified.

    poojie is correct there

The main reason why we have got this is so that the Moderation department can keep a closer eye on new members and in my eyes its a good system, however lowering the "threat level" shall i put it, would be pointless because most of the things we get are mostly Text and not images, but we do get the odd few images that are disturbing from time to time.

At the moment its better how it is at the moment

Ok, because I thought it was the posting of rude images that was the problem.

No, thats not necessarily the problem,
the main problem is trying to reduce spam bots flooding the forum with there "adverising", but it is also to keep an eye on new members to see if they are going to rule break as soon as they join the forum,
that way it won't be disturbing the forum and this is also used for people who are on the autoban list that come back on new accounts

it needs to be sorted though tbh it takes like 24 hours for your posts to approved which is just stupid.

It does stop a lot of spamming though. I agree it must be annoying but the spamming of hacking / scamming / advertising sites were just as bad and left many people and their accounts unsafe. It was annoying too "Get cheap trainers here" or whatever the advertiser said.

Twenty-four hours an exaggeration because I check moderated posts three or four times a day myself (this includes General, Habbo and Trading) and I'm just one of many (S)Mods.

Isn't it easier for an Smod to do them or can mods approve any posts?

Well then new members shouldn't be allowed to post links and emails as well.
Lets set the stage on fire, and hollywood will be jealous.
