Angle resolved his issues with WWE. It was down to him anyway since he asked for his release after he refused to go to rehab. He's already stated he's happy ending his career in TNA, though.

The Undertaker wanted to lose to Kane at their first WrestleMania meeting but it wasn't allowed.

Taker has always said he wants to lose to a new star in hopes of getting them over. I'm thinking maybe Barret or Sheamus. Or the Miz, assuming he doesn't win the title on monday. Then again now that Cena is off the hook it'll turn out to be a triple threat, Cena will win and the whole punk angle will be forgotten.

Punk's on his way to becoming the new Stone Cold. I reckon he was burned out and they decided that, rather than let him have his release, they worked out this angle that gives him time off from the schedule while being the single greatest storyline in wrestling in years.

Yeah um even in cities that aren't Chicago Punk is getting chants. He's uber popular. A face turn would be easy.

I LOVE THIS. I love how people are getting taken in by the storyline, congratulations are in order to creative and Vince but Jesus, I never thought people could be so transparent.

He's still under contract with the WWE. Fact.

I'm not having a say in this matter. I'd like to see that Punk is still under contract with the WWE which will make this storyline one of the best ever. But Punk said he wanted some time off because he wasn't shown as a top star in WWE. But reading that over, Punk is getting time off... He's not attending any WWE Events as a Champion (like Triple H said in the conference) and atm he is the most talked about Superstar Wrestler in the World right now.
