Riding along the motorway
It's impossible to get there. Josh did say...
Night time comes, everyone's frowning

River beds gleaming with beautiful flowers,
In these lovely, peaceful hours

Shoots of flowers are appearing
Pointing to a Spring that's nearing
Rows of tulips and daffodils
I n the meadows in every hue
Now that nature's lost its chill
Go outside while it's anew

Well, we already have a competition for the scriptwriters, so now I think I should do one aimed at poets.

I’m carrying on my theme of spring, because it’s a lovely time of the year when lots of interesting things happen. Flowers bloom, baby lambs are born, and eggs hatch. There are lots of connotations of spring, and I would like you to enter a poem featuring these for this competition.

The poem must be an Acrostic one using the word ‘spring’. This means that is should be laid out like this…

The first line should start with a word beginning with the letter ‘S’, the 2nd with ‘P’, the 3rd with ‘R’ and so on. You may have a whole sentence per line, or maybe just one word. It’s up to you.
