Sunday's game v Arsenal proves it. If Liverpool had the mettle to win the league they would have gone for it being 1 man up.

The fans didn't really care about losing in 'a mickey mouse cup', but I'm sure Fergie would've rather liked winning it. Trophies are trophies, and the more you have, the better you look as a team. It'd be great to win a cup, but we have a long way to go yet. Originally Posted by Carlitos
