here is an article that i sent to habbo.co.uk but they didnt publish it.

cokemusic has done a bit of... copying
as u see have u noticed cokemusic was made exactly 1 year and no months or no weeks later. cokemusic started on the habbo anniversary. cokemusic came out with the same kind of furni just different names for it. then.....

they come out with some cheap thing to get it going.. creatable music

the tracks are poor and eventually there are so limited tat u keep hearing the same tune over and over again.

why is this...... to make money but instead of charging they make u put e-mail on everything

to do anything u need to put an e-mail. then they make loads and loads and loads of e-mail addresses and send them to ur e-mail advertising viagra. anyone agree that they copied habbo???

well, it would make sense that they are similar, since Coke and Habbo are both made by Sulake labs :p and what do u mean put ur email on everything? u need an email to sign up, but most places have that...and im sure if you read the terms and conditions, that it says they wont use ur email address for advertising

yes but when i say put ur e-mail on everything i mean u have to put ur e-mail to play each game an e-mail to make music. u need an e-mail for everything on it.

they use your email to log you in, instead of a username. nothing wrong with that.

Cokemusic was made by Sulake Labs and is very similiar to habbo. It is for Americans only. The music part of Coke Studios is the reason why it is different and interesting. You say that the music is short and boring but think of all the bandwith they would need (and the ammount of lagg) it would be for everyone to play three minute songs. This would also take a lot of loading and would have people waiting in line a long time just to play their song. This is why they are short.
