Hello! Quite a substantial update here for you today and if I'm honest it was actually due to hit your screens last week, but for obvious reasons it didn't. This means that this week we have lots of updates for you and a couple of them are really really big!

So this is what I have for you this week:

• Major Forum Structural Changes
• Stars for VIP/Donator [EXTRA VIP/DONATOR FEATURE]
• 2500 posts for 1 rep power
• Site Content Name Change
• New Notices for New Members & Guests
  
• Updated Search Navigation Bar
  
• Changes to the Legacy Skins

Ok, so as you all know one of the main criticisms about HabboxForum is that our index is too long and there's too much on it therefore I have once again looked at it with the view of cutting it down.

It's quite a hard thing to do because HabboxForum is also valued for its vast areas of discussion.

So here's what I've changed:

~ Merged "Habbox & Community" to make Habbox

~ Removed 'Feedback Polls' Feedback polls can now be posted in Feedback

~ Questions/Queries about Habbox is now a subforum of Habbox Feedback

~ Anything about Trading is now a subforum of 'Trading'

~ Elite Alterations is now a subforum of 'Habbo Alterations'

~ 'Other Graphics' and 'Pictures and Photography' have been merged to make Other Graphics, including Pictures & Photography

~ Kazopark has been moved to be a subforum under 'Online Games'

~ Jokes forum has been removed - Jokes can now be posted in Spam

~ 'Paid Requests' has been merged into Web Market with prefixes - Thanks to Skizzling for this idea

~ 'Free Requests' has been merged into Designing & Development

~ 'Food & Drink' and 'Animals & Pets' have been removed - threads which would have fit into these previously can now go in 'Discuss Anything'

So there we have it, quite a lot of substantial changes which has shaved a good few forums off the index! Enjoy!

Following a suggestion in feedback we have decided to add a new feature to VIP and offer our donators the chance to use it too.

VIP and Donators may now choose whether to show their user rank stars (gold, ruby etc).

For now, this may either be turned off, or on for you by default however in the future this feature will be turned on (as in stars showing).

Should a user wish for their stars to either appear if they do not already, or not appear if they do at the moment then drop me a PM and I'll sort this out for you.

It has now been made slightly easier for members to gain rep power, as now only 2500 posts are needed to gain an extra power.

The 'Site Content' forum within "Questions/Queries about Habbox" has been changed to "Habbox.com Content"

This is to avoid confusion between Site Content & Forum Content.

Following the introduction of the Welcome Committee yesterday I revamped the New Members and Guest notices, this is what they look like now:

Following our change to vBulletin 4.0 in March the navigation bar on "New Posts" became different to the navigation bar in other areas of the forum.

It was found that users generally found this a pain therefore we have changed it so that there is only one navbar everywhere, and that is the main one which shows:

• New Posts
• Private Messages
• FAQ
• Calendar
• Arcade
• Donate
• Groups
• Awards
• Community

  • Member List
• Forum Actions
  
  • Mark Forums Read
  • General Settings

The vB4 toolbar has now been removed from the Legacy Skins to make them more like they were on vB3.
