Well I am learning spanish at the moment.
when you see ll it is pronounsed like a y for example:
    mi llamo D.R.evelo.
If you've ever heard a spainish conversation you'll notice that they liek to talk encredibly fast!

An N with that curly think on top ~ is like nwer For example:
    tengo ~ ueve a~os
    n n
Id start with the pronounceation first and move onto the words.
    It'll make life easer
    words:
    hello: Hola
    what about you?: ?Y tu?

Ive pnly just started spanish so im not that great. I knwo a bit of german

You'll find a lot of helpful websites on the Google engine.

When you really start to get stuck in, you will find it's actually a rather easy language to learn. And a beautiful one at that.

I'm pretty fluent at spanish. Here's some useful spanish phrases:

    Hola! - Hello
Qué tal? - How are you?
    y tú? - And you?
    y - And
Me llamo[a] - Darren only 'a' at the end if you're feminine.
    uno - 1
    dos - 2
    tres -3
    cuarto -4
    cinco - etc..
    seis
    siete
    ocho
    nueve
    dix - ... 10

    hm...
    quiero - i want
    bebo - i drink
    tengo - i have
    como - i eat

Oh gee, I remember learning the Spanish basics like the colors and days of the week. Very simple language to learn, in my opinion. I haven't mastered the language, but judging from what I've already learned it is a simple language compared to English.

I didn't have a Spanish class for two years so everything I used to know about the Spanish language probably drifted out of my brain.

Good luck with trying to master it!
