I'm intrigued as to why so many believe Manchester City will finish no higher than fourth place? Out of the last four seasons Manchester City are the only club to not finish outside of the top two.

The Manchester City squad has been improved this summer.

Do we use logic when forming opinions or do we allow personal opinions to be tainted by the poisoned opinions of the media?

Perhaps opinions are formed upon the same basis as those which left the golden boot winner out of the team of the year, or perhaps we use the same foundations which lead to many forming the opinion that the record four-time golden glove award winning goalkeeper is not an adequate goalkeeper.
